The Rules of Golf as laid down by the R&A/USGA apply except when modified by the following Local Rules:

1. OUT OF BOUNDS A ball is out of bounds when it lies outside of all boundary fences and hedges, in or over any stream on the perimeter of the course, in or over any area defined by white posts including the Clubhouse, its surrounds, the Professional’s Shop, Club Officers’ Car Park and the main and small practice Greens.

2. PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES Young trees are identified as those having stakes attached. If such interferes with a player’s stance or the area of intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 16.1f (NO PLAY ZONES).

3. STONE DRAINAGE DITCHES, BUGGY PATHS AND THE TRACTOR PATH BEHIND THE 15TH GREEN ALONG WITH ALL ROADWAYS are deemed to be Immovable Obstructions and relief may be taken in accordance with the procedure described in Rule 16.1b.

4. GENERAL AREA The Tractor Shed on the 5th/11th, the Tractor Shed on the 14th and all artificial bunker faces are deemed to be integral parts of the Course. Relief only under penalty as prescribed in Rule 19.2.

5. DROP ZONE 4TH HOLE When it is known or virtually certain that a ball is in the red penalty area, the player must proceed to the marked drop zone, dropping with one penalty stroke Rule 17.1.

BUGGY RULES

Do’s

• Maximum of two players per buggy
• Keep to buggy paths where provided
• Drive carefully and sensibly at all times
• Keep to the 90° rule (see signs on course)
• In bad ground conditions park buggies on downhill slopes to avoid skidding and damage to course
